Call it not even a mixed pedagogy, but a “tangled” pedagogy …

They call it not even a mixed pedagogy, but a “tangled” pedagogy. Different factors influence teachers’ decisions, and pedagogy is mixed and tangled with technology in them. The way a lesson or a whole course will look like is shaped by the environment, taking into account the personal preferences of the teacher, the characteristics and wishes of the students, and the educational objectives.

For example, HyFlex training, where learners can choose whether to attend a face-to-face class, connect synchronously online, or watch a recording. These are three different audiences, and lesson design and assignments will have to take into account all three – as well as the specifics of the tools used. That is, and technology influences how the lesson will be structured, along with the age and skill level of the audience.
